Tea Time: Fall with Flair 3D Challenge

by Deb Felts on September 18, 2012

Tea Caddy

I love Fall!  It usually comes late to Northeast Florida, but we sometimes get enough of a cold snap to turn at least a few of the trees into vibrant hues of yellow, gold, orange and red.  I’m really looking forward to sweater weather when the air is crisp and the temperature is brisk enough to enjoy a nice hot cider or spiced tea without breaking into a sweat, giggle!  ;)  That is what inspired 3D182:  A Tea Caddy.

I followed Heidi Bak’s tutorial for the basic box measurements and construction, although I kept my overall design much simpler…I love the warm and rich colors of this Teresa Collins paper, and the coordinating washi tape is one reason I really wanted to use it!  Not only is the washi tape decorative…in this case, it’s functional, too.

All of the products that I used for my project, including scoring tools, designer paper, washi tape, images from Gourmet Rubber Stamps and gorgeous bling from Zva Creative, are available at i {heart} papers. Our i {heart} papers design team is hosting a blog hop today and we’ve invited the Zva Creative team to join us.  Several of the Paper Craft super novas are on one team or the other…we’re so happy for our hop to be part of Paper Craft Planet’s week long bling party!

i {heart} papers retails the industry’s best paper crafting supplies from your favorite manufacturers while offering stellar customer service and super fast and FREE US shipping with any $60 order. (We also ship internationally.) We are proud to offer our exclusive i {stick} papers redline tape, which is manufactured just for us in long-lasting 60 yard rolls, at an amazing price! We also provide a publication incentive for our three private stamp lines, Mint Motif, The Petal Press and Chicken Girl. Visit our website and follow us on FacebookTwitter and our blog for news, sales, coupons and more!

Zva Creative produces many beautiful color groupings of high quality pearls, flowers and crystal embellishments that can be used on scrapbooking, card making and mixed media projects. Visit Zva’s gallery or blog for great project ideas and to find a list of stores and online retailers that sell Zva click HERE.

If you’d like to hop along with Zva Creative, i {heart} papers, and a few of the Paper Craft Planet super novas, head on over to Kate’s blog!  I will hope to see you on my blog, With a Stamp and a Song, in just a little while!

Zva Creative will be selecting one lucky winner who comments along the blog hop to win a Zva prize package worth $30. All comments must be received by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, September 19th. Winners will be announced on Zva’s blog on Thursday, September 20th.

I hope you’ll also join me in making a blingy tea caddy of your own!  Post your project in our gallery using PCP keyword 3D182.
