Dreamweaver Stencils Thursday Tutorial

by wendy jordan on June 21, 2012

Welcome to another Dreamweaver Stencils Thursday Tutorial.

Let’s start the fun by announcing the WINNER from Deb Felts post on June 7th.  CAROLYN has won the stencil of her choice which is Fuchsia.  Carolyn, Congratulations and please email Lynell at lynell@dreamweaverstencils.com to claim your stencil.

Today I have decided to share a technique with you that is loved by  stenciling enthusiasts and others that don’t even know what stencils are.  The Double Glitter Technique will give you dynamic effects with little effort.

I am a visual learner, so I thought a video would best express this technique.

This month Dreamweaver Stencils Design Team is collaborating with Art Institute Glitter  Designers for a month of Double Glitter Technique fun.  All month Dreamweaver Stencils is hosting a challenge to make wedding cards and what a perfect occasion for glitter.

For more information and tutorials, please visit Dream It Up, the Dreamweavers Blog or Dreamweaver Stencils Facebook page.

Would you like to win the stencil of your choice?  Go over to Stencil with Style and choose a stencil, return to this post and leave a comment telling us which stencil you would love to own.  This giveaway will last two weeks.

Great video tutorial and lots of tips on this technique! I need to get some of the coconut soap as I have tried this technique with another natural soap but found that when I removed the stencil from the adhesive, the soap prevented glitter from sticking to some small areas. My favorite stencil this week would be the Black Eye Susam background.
