Easy Peasy Spring Gift Bag 3D114 Challenge

by Keely Yowler on May 17, 2011

Welcome to this week’s 3D challenge! I want to share a fun, easy gift bag that I love to make for all occasions. First, I start with a paper lunch bag. Trim to a height of 5 1/2″. I used decorative scissors.

To create the front and back panels, cut 2 diecut shapes 7″ in height. I used my Cricut cartridge, “A Child’s Life”, to cut the scalloped rectangles. You can use any shape that will cover the front/back of the bag.

Decorate the front and back diecuts with your favorite papers, stamps, and diecuts. I used patterned papers and diecuts by My Little Shoebox. The digi stamp is by Mo’s Digital Pencil Shop. Isn’t she just the sweetest? I colored her with Copic markers. I also added hand drawn stitches with my black Zig pen.

Adhere the diecut panels to the front and back of the paper bag. Punch holes in the top of the front and back panels. Thread ribbon to create handles.

To participate in this week’s challenge, create one of these easy peasy gift bags. Upload a pic in the PCP gallery with Tag 3D114 and link to Mr. Linky below. I can’t wait to see what you create :)
